Liberation Bug reporting

While playing the V2 Launch Pad mission i encountered some serious errors.

1. After awhile i wasn't able to unload infantry from trucks or tanks and crew couldn't get out from vehicles either. I saved the mission, loaded it and nothign happened, i closed Liberation, loaded mission again and the problem was still there.

2. ISU1-152 and SU-152 have very big range but they constantly move towards target while reloading, even though they were orderd to stand ground.

3. Unit type selection is very wierd,
a) double clicking to select APCs or armored cars automaticaly selects trucks also,
b) long range artillery and anti-tank guns are being selected togheter aswell
c) Panther tanks are selcted toghether with Heavy Tanks

And many houses can't be entered.

It isn't bug. When you make the description of the units, there are fixed categories.
Liberation modders didn't change the original Resource War categories.

But an advice:
AT-gun and Long range artillery isn't bug.

AT-Guns and Field guns are guns.
F-22, 25 pdr, Mle 1897, Fk16 are guns (but they were field gun). They were used as AT-weapons and ballistic artillery too.

In my opinion At-gun and the guns are one cathegory. Only the howitzers and mortars are different categories. But there are exceptions, for example the A-19 field gun or 105 mm Mle 1913 fieldgun. They were used mostly as ballistic artillery but they were effective AT-weapons too with APHE shells.

Another exception is the italian 47 mm modello 35 AT-gun. It was AT-gun but it was used like light field gun. It could fire 47 mm HE shells.

The best way is to make new categories:

At-guns (for example 3.7cm Pak36, 25 mm mle 34 or 37 mm Bofors mod.36)
AT/Fieldgun (F-22, A-19, 25 pdr)
Howitzer (sFh18, lFh 18, Ml-20, M-10, B-4)
Heavy Mortar (Br-5)

In Resource war there are categories about the function of the gun. But the historical categories would be much better in Liberation too.

But I have to write it again: Leyland Retriever is not Bedford QLD!!!!
And the Bishop never could turn the turret!!! :aaa6

That is a good thing and shouldn't be considered a bug. The french army has nothing to say about World War 2, so they best shut up about it! :lol:

Really? French people couldn't say anything about WW2?

Have you ever heard about Bir Hakiem? military6

There were many battles where the french soldiers fought hard.

Or you are only ordinary/average who knows only Kurt Knispel?

It is easy to give the France Army voice sound from other mods?
Which Programm I need to give them sounds?

I have found another bug. It seems the chassis panzer II tank in Liberation is a Panzer III Ausf B or C chassis. military6

It seems that some wooden fences are very hard to destroy if they are destroyable and are also tank-proof, meaning tanks can't pass thru them, and this is a bit upsetting having to circle a hole farm cause of a wooden fence...

Recently I downloaded the Liberation 2.75 Beta6 mod and my first impression is very positive ... Good gameplay, big choice of houses and other objects and many units ... very great mod !!! (I miss only the Japanese Tank-Prototypes like in Hidden Stroke II or III)

I found the following little bugs in this Version (I try to report in English):
At first it is very difficult to use the Bridge-object to create a "not-destroyable-bridge" because I can not hide the endings of the object with cliffs or some other objects ...

The second bug I found was on a railroad ... when there´s a "locomotive box" put on the end of the train, the train can not move back if there´s an object BESIDES (!) the rails ... but if there´s a fuel-box or another locomotive on the end, it´s no problem to move back ...

Once again I worked on my new winter-map yesterday and now I got a serious problem...
After moving a lot of tanks (Panzer IV J) through a town, the landscape is no longer complete on the display ... maybe there are too many "grooves" or "vestiges" (how should I say ??, german word "Spuren") by the tanks on the ground ?? I don´t know ...

Another problem is that some buildings needing too much or too less space, so that the units can´t pass some areas or they "merge" with the buildings ...

I´m glad if the final version of the Liberation mod is without these problems :wink:
