SS 3 - DescEditor - 3D models export as image

Hello,

I just got SS3 on steam and noticed it has a nice editor where I can see the 3D models of tanks and vehicles, I can rotate them and even load only the Hull or the Turret. I have a personal project of mine and it involves taking top down images of 3D models of vehicles in various angles. Is there a way I can export the 2D view of the models from this editor to an image? or how can I extract them to load them up in another 3D model viewer like 3Ds Max or Blender?
