Very BAD and Very SAD
I found that Next7 don't support transparency and modern visualization technology (texture blending f.e.) anywhere... Not only units texture, but landscapes don't support blending & transparency too!
Fireglow, please, rebuild Next7!!!

I don't think the ground texture is the big problem about the Beta. This or that "carpet", who cares? For players it's important to see an fluent running demo, not the stuttering which can be seen on most machines.
When it comes to texture importance, the first thing that needs coloration should be the infantry units - they look mostly all the same and one can't differ them by weapons or helmets, as it was in SUST1-2
As far as i understood MT, also in this demo most features have been deactivated or left out and it's from 2005.

Max Dolmar {Fireglow}: We consider that the graphic representation is one of the most important components of a contemporary game.

Fireglow team: (...) Of course we've used the benefits of the new technology and made the textures very detailed and historically accurate.
