New map: Battle for Germany, 1945 (384 x 384)
Hi,
I have another new map in the making!
The map will be set in a heavily bombed/shelled Ruhr-gebied landscape.
In the center of the map lies a devastated german city. The surrounding of the city is comprised of an industrial area - located to the north of the city- and several villages.
Several ingame stills:
The map will be available for custom script-writing once finished.
I would love to see it being the theatre of a well designed SP-mission.

I need some SERIOUS help here...
I've added a bunch of rubble to add to the devastation of the map..
When loading the map ingame.... suddenly a VAST number of buildings that were previously there appear to be VANISHED...
When i try to add additional buildings they wont show up ingame... regardless of the location.
Could anyone help me with this?

It appears that addtional buildings DO show up when placed NORTH of the city... to the south however they seem to be NOT THERE...
The minimap and tactical image both display a fully INTACT map...including all the stuff that is missing on the actual map.
Also.. units are still being blocked on the exact location of the invisible buildings demonstrating that they ARE still there but are simply not visible...
man... what the hell... i really hope somebody has a solution for this.

hello nevux,
the ingame mini map is an picture of the editor map.
but i think you have to many buildings. Destroyed buildings also count as a complete building.
Have you placed more than 800 houses? If so the buildings sedate last are not indicated in the game any more. However, this can vary, according to your PC achievement.

I was already at 1200 buildings...
Is this issue without the reach of the modteam? I guess its an engine thing that can't be changed?
Anyway... I've severely stripped my map... to around 800 buildings.. it still looks ok , although i had to sacrifice the village and a large number of buildings of the industrial area..

Yes, sadly it is an engine-issue again...nothing we can change.
