Do you know what the scenery that surrounds the city was like in '45? Acres and industry i presume? what about forests and planes?
Thanks for bringing up the Rhine! I would have surely forgotten.
I think i will position the river so that it will isolate the industrial area to the north of the city.

Now and than it looks all the same, exept for the devastation ...
There is a lot of Farmland in the sourroundings of Wesel some small Woods too. Industry is only a minor part of Wesel.
BTW, i found my old Wesel Map, if you are interested i can send it to you.
Its not finished, i thinks its 20% done, but you can do with it what you like...

A crop field:
I used the 'farmland' terrain texture as a basis for this landscape design.
The 'crops' are represented by destroyed trees of the shrubs type (the 5th category)
To enhance the 'vividness' of the terrain, i've added numberous road textures of the 1st category.
I think it looks quite realistic.....according to sust gfx standards of course.
At least it's better then a boring, naked field, consisting of nothing more then just farmland with some heaps of hay.
Secondly, a crater riddled patch of farmland, that serves as the scenery for a damaged and abandoned Jagdpanther (inaccessible).
I really think that the editor should have more static objects of destroyed vehicles..

Eben, die resonanz hier im Dt. bereich ist doch auch viel höher so wie es aussieht !Zocker hat geschrieben:@ Ralf
es ist völlig in ordnung wenn nevux hier über seine map schreibt.. deswegen heißt dieser board bereich auch SP+MP Tests... ob das nun auf englisch ist oder nicht ist dabei völlig egal...
