As far as I know, in the terms of cool graphics and geographical correctness, there are no good Stalingrad maps for Multiplayer...
A realistic Stalingrad would be unplayable due to the number of houses, which somehow annoys the players..
Chateau is not your primary objective, so you do not have to capture it if you do not wish so. But, it will give you some reinforcements and a stable front line. Plus, it will allow you to get into Falaise from the North.
