The graphics driver update fixed the problem.

Yep, graphics driver update did it. PC is only 4 days old, guess they ship with older drivers... Thanks all for the ideas!

Unfortunately, that didn't fix the problem...

New Computer, trying to get 6.8 setup... Switcher is working and the movies play fine as the game starts.
