Conversion tiles to meters is tricky. In some modding documentation is that 1 tile have 10 x 10 feets = 3 x 3 meters.

Gallery works well! :) - maybe fo playing button (presentation) would be good if it open new window/frame and show images there - like when you click to zoom/enlarge icon. It's not too difficult, 2D RTS game is a relatively simple matter. And here is a lot of talented people around.
One more problematic thing is multiplayer. If you will keep 6 vs 6 and lot of unit. ,But today that's also isn't such a problem. Just need ppl who know programming.

Maybe a gallery section would be good feature, where users can upload screenshots, images or so. Also it would help for better orientation in mods and show history.

Very nice stuff here! :) By the way, I remember, PWM should have special scheme for naval battles - big ships resized to small units (no movement restrictions), also planes, map graphics and so. It was interesting idea but it was not implemented? Too much work for "small profit" or technic...

here on forum I saw number 4000. So it's 4000 minus neutral units placed on the map?
And what happend when it exceeds? In SP units are waiting in the queue, but this is not true for multiplayer.
