Tips for Syrian campaign (The bloody sands)

Hey all,
First thing first, much thanks to developers for this great effort!

I just finished campaign minutes ago and I want to share information about it.


1. If you suffered from combat, remember tanks, AT guns and ATGMs has great range beyond own sight... as original Sudden Strike. Use BRDM-2, sniper or recon infantry (having binoculars) wisely if it available, and try to order hold ground to tanks behind the recon.

2. Medics are OP, especially into the building. They recover infantry's health very fast and almost unbeatable by any threats on the ground.

3. I read a post by who couldn't achieve mission #5. difficulty under easy won't work on Mission #5 because rebel T-90A blows up easily by any effective weapon. If you encountered this situation, check your difficulty and replay mission from FIRST (loading existing save won't work at all)

4. Some aviation units are hard to refuel/repair due to own shape. I achieved to refuel choppers but I couldn't manage to repair/refuel MiG-21. To refuel Mi-24, set tanker left side of the body!

5. Don't rush! Many of missions from this campaign takes a lot time to win. njoy 4hours!

Honestly I haven't play other campaigns yet but will do! (I understand only basic Russian and these seem not translated to English yet) I may write some tips if I got useful ideas

Oh I forgot to wrote one more tip, we can order selected aviation units by alt + left click. it means we can set waypoint to attack/airborne avoiding SAM/SPAAG sites! (I hadn't known this until I played Imperial Glory campaign from Pacific War Mod, over 10+ years of ignorance!)

Russian campaign was not that hard to beat for me. But the Double bite one is very hard. I did not even pass the first mission

About the Syrian campaign the first mission was confusing me. I did not know where to send that supply truck after that...

Perfect! I was seeing people doing that in the multiplayer games. I did not know how to do it. Thanks again for it.

Hahaha every mission have very unique tasks and quite a fun! also driver of supply truck was funny man

Dear rashidudin, thank you for your great effort, I love this mod!
I guess I played under the latest version (MWM3 ver 2.4 overwrote with English version files)


Not so many troubles but as I wrote when I set difficulty under easy it was impossible to capture T-90A. When I played Camel Hunt mission over normal difficulty, problem has gone. I hadn't any other problems that makes impossible to achieve mission through entire campaign though! (Basically I played normal difficulty entire campaign)

You can make a save, sometimes tanks shooting other tanks will kill the crew and leave the T90-A unoccupied.

Sure but in easy difficulty, T-90A blows up from technical's recoilless gun or even infantry grenades. I tried quite a few times but kill only crews is never happened. I wrote replay mission from first because sudden strike engine seems to loads difficulty too.

It would be nice if you can share them. My saves got removed while I was getting the new MWM

Thank you for your kindness, fortunately I've done all mission from Syrian campaign on normal difficulty already and I have all saves of each missions but it would be nice for who lost saves or couldn't break through some mission if developers won't mind. Speaking of the last mission, it was really tough because first time I lost all AA and self-propelled artillery thanks to massive counter attack, The Al-bab stronghold was well defended. but I love trial and error

Indeed Al-Bab was really tough for me too the enemy has a lot of technology there, my favourite mission was definitely
