Modding sudden strike forever.

Hey i was realy interested if it is possible to mod sudden strike forever and put new units in the game and what kind of programs do you use for that? Cause so far i haven't seen any forever mods with really new units based on NEW models.
I am really noob in modding shit, i actually know nothing about it so links to topics with some sort of modding introduction are welcome too

srry i couldn't speak german, i know a bit but it is not sufficient enought to ask you guys for this
