I have read some of the forums about the CDV and FireGlow legal issues, but since I am at work I cannot read the whole thread or look on other forums. Please if someone can please tell me what this is all about!

the reason of war against CDV and Fireglow is because CDV permit that product left pirated! pirate software with no support and right from fireglow ! i thing you are out of this world! as you know CDV lost all right by court decision and a statement under some condition where is never respected is just a joke!

Ende Juli 2006 warnte der Spiele-Publisher vor unter den Erwartungen liegenden Umsätzen, Anfang August trat der CDV-Chef Christoph Syring zurück - und nun verkauft das Unternehmen auch zwei seiner vielversprechendsten Titel an einen Konkurrenten.

In seiner Mitteilung zum vorläufigen Geschäftsergebnis des 2. Quartals 2006 gab der CDV-Vorstand bekannt, dass laufende Kostensenkungsmaßnahmen - Entlassungen eingerechnet - die Umsätze kurzfristig nicht "annähernd ausgleichen" werden. Ihre volle Wirkung könnten die Maßnahmen erst im Verlauf des 2. Halbjahres entfalten, hieß es.

"Der Vorstand ist weiterhin von der hohen Qualität der wichtigsten Produkte für das 2. Halbjahr, War Front: Turning Point und Panzer Tactics DS, überzeugt", betonte der CDV-Vorstand in seiner Mitteilung vom 31. Juli 2006. Der Ausblick auf künftige Erfolge schien aber dennoch nicht mehr zu reichen, denn CDV kündigte am 21. August an, "mit Vertrag vom 18. August 2006 sämtliche gegenwärtigen und künftigen Rechte an den Spielen 'War Front', 'Panzer Tactics' und 'Jack Keane', [...], auf die GDD Games Development and Distribution GmbH" zu übertragen.

Damit nicht genug: GDD hat auch die Entwicklungsverträge mit den jeweiligen Entwicklungsstudios übernommen. Die CDV-Website wirbt dennoch noch stolz mit War Front.

Zum Kaufpreis heißt es: "Für den Erwerb sowie die Fertigstellung dieser Spiele zahlt die GDD Games Development and Distribution GmbH einen Betrag im unteren einstelligen Millionenbereich", so CDV. Weitere Details zum Verkauf fehlen.

Als am 9. August 2006 der Rücktritt des CEO Christoph Syring bekannt gegeben wurde, gab der Aufsichtsrat an, sich in Verhandlungen "mit einem sanierungserfahrenen Manager" zu befinden=
