I import 3d model in blender. Then i create a armature so that it turns around itself in 32 steps. Then i make bmp from each step. With pink background. All so that it can be used in a sudden strike like game. In a mod for example.

But this all takes really long with blender. Takes weeks to control this program. But then you can do a whole lot with it. 3d, animation, all in superb quality.

Do U can import .mdl in Blender?
Not sure...
Why do U not use free GMAX?

I will try. With the mdl i must try how this works.

But now i made my first render series:

Think it is not very far from what we need, or?

The glasses of auto should not be pink!
Because then it will not right appear in the game. Generally in units should not be pink colors ...
As an attempt to do. All come with experience.
I generally use a tool for fine-tuning in Max, by which I obtain excellent results. But it for paid.

No... This is animation how-to-work from their site...

I step-by-step working on own mods.
WW2 theme and post-war...
But no screens yet...
Not time for this...

Now I am awaiting the result of a programmer, this will depend the development of my mods ...

Why dont you continue SSNM? There is a whole lot of good stuff unused... it was one of the best.

I prefer only english!
Actually one but big ploblem with german version is 卐 not on maps but on historical buildings , objects and units.

I like SSNM, but SSNM and even HS2 already outdated...
New mods use all opportunities of moding better...

Especially outdated SSNM where units created primitive method from today view...
All units must be re-rendered becouse no semi-transparency no turret shadows...
I have not they 3D models ... But i have own not only for units...

I make total conversion! Start from new ground schemes till new game-menu and may be game-play...

Now moding on stage where can be many new perfect mods and moders have all tools...
Any moder can make mod what he prefer...

Joss, you know a lot about modding!

In my opinion it would be good to have all schemes of ww2 in one mod. Europe summer and winter, africa and asia, that would be 4 schemes. And it would be nice if it is possible to load existing raw maps. It is lot of work to make all these maps new.

And what i would like to have more civilian. Thats realistic. In real war there are lots of civilians too.

Gmax looks good. Seems i will work with gmax now, blender has annoyed me enough ... but one point: it seems the animation cant be rendered in gmax?

I make universal schemes with equal files for all scheme resourses by maximum!
Will be possible convert any map to any season.
But not 4 schemas becose is game limit for units and objects and i want create for example spring1942Ukraine where was historical units and national forces and historical uniforms for exactly 1942 and exactly for this front... Historical buildings, flora est...
Mapmakers by choose this schema not must think about what unit and camos real for this war period or not...

No hope man. Joss still makin his mod during last 8 years. There are no visible result, but it seems to be the greatest mod all over the MilkyWay Galaxy! So, if you wanna Joss' mod - ask SETI how )))

Moby, you know, what takes long one day becomes good.

But i have heard you made the CWC mod? I am one of them who really likes it. And there are really a few things no other mod can offer! Like Units on top of a hill or on ships and buildings as units. And fire animation. Great work! It is inspiration for own creation.

Joss, your ideas sound good. I have some similar things in work.
But to come back to the last question - it seems you cannot render in gmax. Discreet has taken this function out when reducing 3ds max to gmax. Is there a gamepack as plugin with render functions? Does Trainz or Flight Simulator gamepacks include render functions?

edit: after google i have found this link with a download "gmax render suite". I will try now.

Mods make original game better.
If U add new bugs and shadows in both sides for sale to wow-kids 12 years of age and mental development it named russian-shmods...

I make all possible for moding advance and now the time for self-realisation...
but when, how to see and this portal are browsing the guys from the company "We sell all of your ideas", I must be cautious.
I do not want these guys again sold my ideas ...

I have full Max 7 and Max 2009 so i am not expert in gmax.
But i think U can edit and prepare models here but render in 3ds Max!

The gmax render suite works, but makes only 1 render bitmap, no animation series.

But there are few other proggies too. I will try OpenFX now. The 3dsmax demo it is not so useful. Only 6 days use. Anyway : we already have the series for the most important units in all the mods, only need to render for a few units.
