so let me try to summarize your opninion:

you mean the strentgh of the t34 should be increased for gameplay even the t34-85 wasn't that strong in reality!? right?
im not sure about this. but i don't think that the tank's values should differ too much from realtity...
i agree that in some cases changes can be made to improve gameplay, but only slightly...

but you know, the new dammage parameters of principal units of 6.7, is not a revolution, i think you can use my actually table

Langemarck balancing tips:
1. Set the exp of all infantry to 150
2. pak40=us3inch=zis3-> for uk use us3.00inch
3. always make sure that infantry is balanced -> for uk use the us MG
4. Tanks:
-Best is to make a combination of tanks ( in general you should have the same firepower, armour , speed and range for all nations ).
-Try to give an even quantity of tanks.
-Tanks should have at least 25-30exp and not to high.
-Try to avoid using tanks that you don't know very well.
-Don't use to many units at the same time, give tank hunters and normal tanks in seperate reinforcement

*EXAMPLES*
-Panther+ pz H/G = 2t34 mod44= comet + cromwell
(3panther+3pzH= 6t34mod44=3comet+3cromwell).

- Jagdpanther+ Nashorn=2su100=2 jackson (45xp instead of 30)
(jagd+nash+2stug=2su100+2su75=2jackson+2hellcat).


-Konigtiger+tiger=2js2+su122=4Pershing
(konig+2panther+2pzH+2tiger=4t34mod44+2js2+isu122=4pershing+2comet+2cromwell).
+be carefull when you add bombers, don't give many when you work with kt or ele.

- For light tanks
i will give more info later, this is hard to balance.


6. Pioneers and snipers
Never give more than 3 pioneer, on small maps it's better to give only 1pioneer.

7. Officers
Always give enough officers and underofficers try to give feldwebel/sergeant in each truck of 10inf.

8. Zepps and terrain
Try to limit the objects at the battlefield to avoid blocking of units,
try to keep the size of each player's front not to big and not to small and make sure the terrain is fair at both sides (same seize of hills,obstacles,...)

9. Timers
Example:
1)infantry only 00.10
2)light tanks 03.00
3)Pak guns 05.00
4)medium tanks 10.00
5) tankghunters 15.00
6)heavy tanks 27.30
7) tank hunters 45.00
8)medium tanks 01.15



timers can be diffirent depending on the terrain, when there are no hills or no defencive positions you can use these, if there are 'camper' positions try you can add some time.

10. Try to make it clear to which position a player should move at the start of the game, you can do so by using a message or other indications.

-APC 7.62mm:
BA64 = SD 221 = A4 vickers = (perfect)

-APC 20mm:
'SD kfg 6rad or 8rad= greyhound= dingo= BA6or10' (+-)

-APC 45-50mm:
PUMA= BA6+20XP= greyhound+20xp = dingo+20xp or 2pounder+20xp = stuart (+-)

-APC 75mm:
SD 251/9 = M3 halftrack (perfect)

-Flametrower:
P23 or sd 250/1 = Ot-26 = Bren carrier or A22 churchill

-Tank 20mm:
Pz II F = T60 (= diango)

-Tank 37-45mm
PZ 23t +20xp= bt-7 = stuart a5
pz35t=bt7=stuart

-Tank 50mm
PZ 3L = BT34 = cruisader 3

-Tank 75mm
pz3 N = t34 mod40 = m24 chaffee

stug 2 b or pzjager1 = t28 = us mine clearer

Pz D = t34 Mod 41 (76.2mm) = a4 sherman 75mm

PZ H or G = t34 mod 41 (57mm) = cromwell +15xp

extra tips

Some extra features to add to your script:

Messages with sound:
-make a new script
-start from mission is more than ../..
-turn off this trigger(important)
-say phrase
-select the message ( to make a new message click on the text on the bottom that says message select teh sound and add the text )

-EXTRAS
You can add messages that open a new screen in the game,
to do so use 'show modial dialog' instead of 'say phrase'.

You can move the screen to a cetrain point on the map togther with a
message:
say phrase or show modial dialog with pointer to marker x
and place the marker number(zepp) on the map.

This can be usefull when you want to explain what players should pay atttention to.

Why is "-turn off this trigger(important)" important?

You should use the command 'turn off this trigger' for everything really.
It means STOP this trigger after the action has been carried out once,
in other words if you don't use it, the message will continue playing all game long :lol:

Yes, Adrian is right.
And , you can't and shouldn't compare units with eachother like that
because all the units are very diffirent, what most players do is:
they take a german unit and try to find some russian ones that would make it fair to them.
What i do is always find a combination of units.
And all nation should have more or less the same amount of units.
And a tip for the scripters: don't use to many diffirent units, you will get
an unbalanced soup :)

A word of advice: don't look to much at the table, the best way to know the balance of units is by own experience.

- nahsorn vs su 100
- Eleph vs 1 JS1 its enough

t 34 85 (44) has a range shooting more far then model 43
hummm... ok I would check that, but it already seemed to me to have done it, that perhaps changed with 6.7 beta ?
example :3 js vs 1 kt is to much make a calcul: 1 shoot from js 1 "eat" from plate kt 200 so 3 shoots its 600 from his plate and kt need 2 shoots to kill a js 2 sometimes 3 !! is it look balanced for u??

sorry too, but it's never like that in game, because it's a lot less regular, sometimes the shell falls to side and eats only some points and that also dépent if the shell arrives on the side or by back. to check, you will see that the loss of point is really not regular. but that one can speak only about “rangeâ€

Hi lange :)

I agree with Adrians list, the only thing is that in my opinion, 1 JSI vs Ele isnt balanced. It depends on the map. On a 512x512 open range you can set that, but on a normal map the elephant is more worth than an ISI. In the right hands, and with good defence on the flanks, the ele can be very powerful, so i would prefer IS2 vs ele.
