It's another 128 x 128 map. Possibly 4 players. Axis: German and Italy
Allies: GB

done:

I've been testing german versus GB units to determine how to properly balance the tanks.

Ill start scripting someday nextweek:

Siege of Tobruk 1942 (mp: 1 vs 1 germany/GB)

Units have been carefully selected according to historical accuracy. I have checked several online databases for information concerning production-dates to avoid including units that weren't yet in use at the time.

tanks available:
pzIV ausf F2/D/G
PzIII Ausf F/J
Marder II
smaller stuff

GB:
Matilda, Sherman M4, crusader, vickers & smaller stuff.

Just a little Hint for historical accuracy:

Sherman wasn't used at tobruk 42. They first appeared at El Alamein. But M3 Grant Lee Tanks have been in British Service at this time.
German Pz IV G were all sent to eastern Front, nearly non to Africa. You should mainly use Pz IV F2.

GB used many M3 and M5 Stuarts in Northern Africa, perhaps they should get some.
Moreover, in RWM only the Crusader MK III is available. This version was not used in to great numbers before El Ala. In Tobruk mainly the Crusader Mk. I was used: Difference: Mk I had a 2-pdr, while Mk III a powerful 6-pdr.

Regarts.

hi nevux

for information on balance RWM nations go "Map editing
& balance" section and for tables (2) units go "dl" section,
on my RWM site http://shadock.chez-alice.fr (UK) with too a lot to other informations...

and thx for this africa map (I hope with a fiew Italian ;) ), there is often not enough of this type of maps scenarios, as too not enough
- winter
- 1940 GB/FR front France (see FR units in my site for more detail)
- 1941/42 and 1942/43 East front (with +/- units of this time)
- 1944 West front without Pershings (unit arrived later in january 1945 and in fiew quantity and to spread out until may 1945, only 2 destroy...)
and why not this 1944 scenario and 1944/45 and desert scenario with "Free France units" nation too (see FR units too in my site)

I know, "Free France units" is with GB/USA units but for changed a fiew and add realism

besides, if you feel the courage us to create some, they will be welcome (in minimum 4vs4 and 256x ;) )

the diversity of SS2/RWM shemes and units and WW2 scenarios are very not enough used... almost always 1944/1945 summer :(

bye
Visit a very good RWM SITE (with RWM units tables & many infos & dl...)(UK)
