how to use maps

hi everyone, love this game SS2, but when i download maps most of them will not work , something about hitname?????

You can not use all mapfiles for the same game mode. I.e Real Warfare Mod Maps will not work under plain SS2.
Some plain SS2 Maps will work under RWM Mod some will not...
The same for other mods...
