I heard that there is a mapCovnerter version that makes loading missions possible. My map converter converts the map only. If you have got the version I'm talking about please give me the patch.

The Map Converter should convert maps and scripts from missions using the two map schemes that were included in the original Sudden Strike 2. I have used it for SP maps only so I can't say anything about converting MP or campaign maps. I have read in different forums that it may work with maps using a scheme that is based on original SuSt2 schemes, but the more differences from the original scheme the more problems. The converter doesn't convert scripts from missions for Resource War as far as I know, only maps. So if you try to convert missions from RWM8 (based on Resource War) you won't get the script, I think.
If there really has been a patch for the Map Converter - which I doubt - then I'd like to have it, too!

Hi guys,

Thanks for the answers but I'm talking about SS2 original version. When I try loading the mission it says

Cannot load mission

Some missions load with no problems and some are not. Which is confusing

It's After I have decompiled the map. I first use the converter and it works with no problem. I load the map it self with no issues. But if i load a mission I get this error message (This is Sudden Strike 2)

It worked on some of the missions, like the total victory, and the original maps (Search and destroy, The Factory is mine, etc..)

Also there is a major problem. After you got the map and finished editing it and then generate as a singeplayer mission.. The old transport trucks with AT guns in the original reinforcements cannot be selected in game. Very strange glitch. I would prefer if there is a version which has these bugs fixed

Dies ist kein Problem mit dem Dekompiler: Er "holt" entweder die Dateien oder schreibt über einen Fehler.
Ich denke, du musst dir den Mod selbst ansehen, in dem du das machst - sehr ähnlich wie beim Überlauf

Thanks for the answer but that issue is in SS2 original version not SSRW or a mod.

We have confirmed that this mapconvert cannot compile units and reinforcements on the map, not other content.

Because in SS2.3 and later versions, units in both the "mapunit" and "support" files have added fuel attributes (surprise~, even infantry has fuel=100 by default)
