hello everyone, i'm an old player of sudden strike but new to RWM 8.5
i noticed that after i take a unoccupied enemy gun -- playing as GER and take SOV gun for example, quite often the gun will start reducing HP after my solders take it
from a HP of 85 suddenly to 4, and needless to day it'll explode very soon.
using repair vehicle is useless.
I tried using different solders to take the gun, even officers, but it doesnt change the outcome.
did I miss something here? do I need to take gun of another power using some special type of solders?
interestingly taking vacant tanks doesnt seem to have this issue.
how to take an enemy gun?

Re: how to take an enemy gun?
In some missions the gun's hp are reduced by script in order to keep the mission balanced. Otherwise the player would be able to get too many artillery pieces. I don't think that this effect is encountered in each and every RWM mission, though.

Re: how to take an enemy gun?
Thanks Gareth, i think it's indeed the case -- reduced by script.
I have not seen this in any other mission so it doenst seem like a bug.

Don't worry, it isn't an issue in the game, (even though this game has more bugs and issues than my life
)
I played a Sudden Strike II mission where you capture Russian Br-5 howitzers from the enemy, but they immediately go down to 0 health. This is done by scripts to keep mission somewhat balanced according to the map maker's desire. Just like Gareth mentioned above.
