You can also download Sudden Strike 2 freely and at no cost. Following the demise of CDV, various licenses were apparently sold off.

Most of this site's suggests are old. You should check site and make tutorial for all i think.

If you can get the game running on Linux (WINE?) you should be able to get the modding tools running, too. Check out the modding subforum. There is plenty of information about modding there. If you have specific questions just ask.

I got free version (GameTop) of Sudden Strike II. Its working on wine after a few adjustments with the help of artificial intelligence (chatbot) sites. I also have steam proton 2, it is making it work.

I just want to add fuel to GameTop version because it is so lightweight even for pentium III's, a mod for it, is my dream. Can you show me a way.

By the way RadminVPN is not working on Linux (mine is Debian 13) is there any other solution like sudden arena.

Adding fuel to Sudden Strike 2 is not possible via modding.

Making a new game is better in a certain way because you can implement all the features you want to have in your game. But at the same time it is much more work than a mod.
