Re: Is there a virus?
Your screenshot shows that only 3 out of 70 virus scanners have issued a warning. We have to understand that virus scanners do not know all viruses but work also with heuristics. So they look for patterns in the code that are typically used in viruses or other malicious software. These patterns can also occur in harmless software nevertheless. An example would be compressed data inside an exe file. This might be virus data that is decompressed by the exe file to implant a virus into the system but it could also be normal data that is decompressed during installation of an application. Regarding mods this is more or less the usual way of distribution. A virus scanner might find this suspicious though.
So my guess would be that it is a false positive. There are about 400 people who downloaded WWM from the main site alone. I haven't heard of any problems yet. So I would think that the file should be safe. But that is just my opinion.
I didn't have a look at WWM yet. Is WWM.exe the installer or some sort of starter for the mod? Or is it the renamed game_exe.exe?
