Music For SS and ST2

Hello;
My German being really horrible, I think I understand the postings for the most part. It is impossible to change the music that is part of the game, due to the fact that it is hardcoded into the program itself. Do I understand this correctly? I wish I could, I have quite a bit that would be more appropriate to the gameplay. Well, there is always the kill the music option.

That's right!

U can't change the music without a modification. Only a second chance = if u start the game, eject the CD, take a music cd in and play it.

Works for me, thanks the in game music is well doesnt add to the game too well. I will go and try your suggestion right now. Wish I could do something more but hey this is going to make it more enjoyable. Thanks again.

ich hab mir jetzt auch mal ss2 zugelegt
und mußte ebenfalls feststellen das man im gegensatz
zum ersten teil die musik nicht ausstellen kann....

gibt es da mittlerweile eine lösung??????

das ist ja dann doch recht nervig zumal die musik immer im vordergrund zu sein scheint.... und man die effekte sprache dadurch kaum hört

Musik ausstellen:
Um die Hintergrundmusik auszuschalten, öffnen Sie die Datei GAME\SUDTEST.INI mit einem Text-Editor. Suchen Sie den Eintrag MusicVolume, und ändern Sie die Zahl dahinter in 0.

That is what I have had to do in order to stop the music. At least now it is somewhat quieter...

to stop the music in SS2 you must install the Patches first 1.9 to 2.0 and later the other 2.0 to 2.2.
When you do it you can do the music louder or stop it

You see: you need the patches

i try it out, yesterday and changed the value 50 to 0
(as it was described above)
it works!!!! now it`s veeeeeery quiet....
