About older maps...

not sure if this is the right forum / topic for this, but I am looking for 3 older maps

the names as I remember: Invasion (3v3) 128x128 if I remember correctly

Spreewald (2v2) 128x128 again, if I remember correctly

and last but not least Kaukasisch frontlinie (1v1) 128x128


Is there any site where I can possibly find these maps for download?

I have found the maps however...

I remember playing them on HS2

I currently play HS2 - RW East front, but after placing the maps in the proper folder... they don´t even appear in-game

I thought they´d be compatible with all SS2 versions ?

is there any way to make them work on other versions? there probably is...

must be quite easy I am not an editor but I did look quickly for a way to convert (if needed) using the map editor...

how though? having the exact same version can´t be my only option...

I am making the transition from german to russian units and I am quite interested in knowing what the units say when you select them. Does anyone remember real quick a bunch of russian words / phrases to make a quick reply?

Is there any software to convert maps from a certain SS2 "mod" to another ?

I am also interested in a very basic tutorial on how to make a basic MP map with baby steps

My SSRW editor user guide is available here on download/file.php?id=4611
Unfortunately it is a) mainly for SP maps and b) in German.
There has been an MP mapping guide by Irrläufer but I couldn't find it in this forum anymore. I will search my SuSt archive at home for this guide and post it.

I have a couple of questions which I would much appreciate help with:

About gates and locations: How does the editor know in the case of more than 1 player per team which gates are for same team ? is this automatic according to proximity ?

And the other question would be: Script for zeppelins: Should I use mission start just like with initial reserves ?

well, I have already figured out the zeppelins part, but I still don´t know proper order for different gates

How to assign specific gates to specific team ?

Assuming gate A is team 1:

gate B in 2 player match will be team 2 yes ?

but what if there are 4 players ? gate B will be team 1 or 2 ? this is what I mean by order
