Seems you have everything to make ww3... But do you know how to get a 3dobject into a c program? i mean a concrete c routine. I have searched for a 3ds loader routine, but they do all incomplete work.

What need for 3d models in .3ds format to put in SS2d game?

1. Tutoral (JWLeonard)
2. SS2_max_scene (JWLeonard and scenes fromothers).

What i can help?
upload new max-scene?
to post link to programs what from hight-poly make low-poly models?
Upload set of files get render pics for different units types?

About soldiers - here more difficult `cos must use motions and its configurate from bypet sets...

I mean a c source code to load a 3d model in my own program, compile it myself and to render automatically a sust-serie of bitmaps from the model. There are some such "3dsloader.c" in web, but they all only display parts of the objects, as the original 3ds format is secret.

Yes, it possible in 3ds MAX to configurate batch for correct rendering and get bmps for SS_units with SS_grafix, SS_shadows and SS_masks on output...

There are many reasons. It is easier for the user. Lightning, size and position and others can be adjusted automatically so that ingame everything fits together.

Joss, you dont know what C sourcecode is?
