Sudden-Strike-Maps

I've never had a problem getting 6.71 RWM to run with the mod switcher. When i run 6.8 it crashes. I get a error message "game_exe has encountered and unexpected error and needs to close". I've been dicking with the settings, re-installing for a few hours now to no avail. I am using the free SS2 game that i got off of this website or linked from this website. I've had this same problem in the past if i forgot to patch the game after installation. I noticed in the sudtest file the game is referred to as SS2 2.0 but when i run the game it says it says it is 2.2 at the main menu. I've tried to patch it but it says SS2 isn't installed on my cpu. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
