Sudden-Strike-Maps

I'm kind of confused with the many Sudden Strike titles out there...I've only played SuddenStrike 2 with RWM mod...but I've never played Sudden Strike Resource War or Hidden Stroke before.

My questions are:
1. What is SS Resource War, and Hidden Stroke 2?
2. What's the difference between the RW and Hidden Stroke?
3. Is Resource War the mod, or Hidden Stroke the mod?
4. What are some good mods for RW or HS?

Hidden stroke 2 is a mod for SS2. SSRW is an update of SS2 with new engine and features like fuel.
So HS2RW is also de update of HS2 with with the new features. But HS2RW include many new things long to explain. See Here:

As explained, SSRW is an update to the original SS2.

Version 8.0 of RWM, released earlier this year, is now also based on SSRW.

RWM 8.0 can be obtained as a stand alone (no CD needed) here : viewtopic.php?f=144&t=9474

Multiplayer games are played over the switcher that comes with the download.


Although based on the same game, Hidden Stroke and RWM differ in concept. Hidden Stroke apparently focusses on arcade-style playing, while RWM focusses more on tactics. What your prefer is a matter of taste.

= I've dL'd RCM before, but the language was chinese, so I couldn't understand almost anything...I still have it in my hard-disk tho'
= I've tried PWM but it doesn't seem to work, no matter what I do....There isn't even a switcher or a run.exe application
