Hello!

I really think the mg42 sound effect doesn't do it justice. It sounds too generic IMO.
I cooked up a sample that I took from a video demonstating the MG42.

As far as I can remember, our sound is also from video with shooting. I will clarify this question.

hmm it appears my link doens't work. Ill pm you the sound file when I get home so you can check it out. The mg42 has a very distinct sound which I'm not hearing in the current sound effect.
