Aaaaaaaaah now i understand what you mean

The damage stages are no problem... many work to do...but i love this work really

And...

it's my first try for a building...so god knows if i ever will present it to download...

I present that one because i need tipps to do better in future.

It is a modern building...and i'm on to change that

edit - And...I'm a fan of selfbuilt things :aaa3

Yes..it's not just a matter of improving or expanding the game, it's also a fun thing to do, to actually build something from scratch..or at least put
a lot of effort in it!

Tovarish, did you use any particular tools to establish the right, isometric perspective, or did you achieve this yourself?

I'm currently working on an oil drilling tower and find it pretty challenging to find the the right angle. I'm currently using in game stills of other buildings
as a template image.

Good luck with your building.. it looks awesome. Is the hairdresser any good? :P

I used the tool that last soldier presented (isoconv) to put the right angle. All other was made by hand.

I've started working on another 'project'. This time, my aim is crank out a reasonably presentable oil drilling rig.

The tile to the right of the tower is a cut-out of an in-game capture of a building I'm using as a palet.

The basic design of the tower construction isn't done yet. Particularly the top part needs to receive some more attention.

Also, I need to slightly adjust the perspective..

That looks good mate, but there's no need to change the perspective I think. The skew is good for a change

You drawed that with hand?

Thanks!

Yes, using Photoshop.

It's steadily progressing... very time consuming but also a LOT of fun to do.

With my building it's going forward...sad that i dont have enough time today to complete my work...
thats the status:
Erased 1 level, add a jewelry on the left, added a fassade and new shadows for the windows at the top and more details for all windows on the left side

I'll be happy when I'm coming home this eve to continue the work

Last Soldier, I think I'm in need of some help again...

The editor wont accept the following image (bitmap). I've already deleted all off-magenta pixels.. so I think that couldn't be the problem
this time.

Edit: LS.. where do you get all this stuff from?

Hola .. thanks!

Do you work with photoshop? If so, could you tell me how to selectively remove all pixels of a particular color (for instance magenta 255,0,255)? The reason i missed all of those off-magenta pixels is because they are just an infinitesimally small amount off.. and are therefore not optically distinquishable

I dont have Photoshop installed so i cant tell you how do it exactly. But use this tool: http://video.about.com/graphicssoft/The ... r-Tool.htm - http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/photos ... ps507e.htm and setup it to mangeta color (255,0,255) removing, if you click to image all pixels what are mangeta will be removed and others stay.

I use Ulead Photoimpact, have simpler and more ergonomic interface, for this small drawing editing is great. (but.. Photoshop is much better and profesional)
