Some SS3 questions

Greetings,

I havn't played SS3 for years but is this game still worth it? I bought SS4 but as long as the editor is not working I won't play it. I have a few questions since I really want to play Sudden Strike again:

-does SS3 work on Win10?
-is it possible to mod viewing range, weapon range ect?
-what is the best mod for SS3?

It is worth, more than SuSt4... trust me.

1. SuSt3 is working on W10 without any problems.

2 and 3 in one answere. The best mod is the Batus-Mod. Have a look in the downloadsection. There are also a bunch of maps and campaigns.

And, salute, there are some working skirmish-mods with really big maps. My favourite campaign is the eastfront and for singleplayer the skirmish thingis. Try to test the german vs russian.

Eastfront is an Batus-Mod Campaign. Ok, there is a problem with W10. Some campaigns didnt start under W10... äääääährm, i think, you have to copy each mission into the single folder from the campaign. That must be work, i hope so. And trust me, its worth to play it.

To start the campaign the Eastfront from the section (folder) of the campaign, the Eastfront file data must be registered in the campaigns.xml file like the missions of the original campaign. Otherwise the game simply does not see the data written in the Eastfront file.
