How to upload more than 300MB files

Hi,

I just finished modding the Sudden Strike 2 Realism mod. Its changing the Sudden Strike 2 sounds and replacing them with a more realistic ones. And was going to upload it but the allowed maxim size is 300MB.

Others can upload 2GB files. Can someone help me or maybe let me upload the mod?

Why do you always ask such things in public? For security reasons I have of course limited the upload size. If a modder wants to have FTP web space, he usually gets FTP access for larger downloads. I run the site because it's a brilliant game and it's been for 20 years and by the way I finance it all out of my own pocket and i am happy about the numerous donations, so that I can reduce my costs a bit and then you get criticism that I as a private person not compete with large commercial services? What's wrong with you?

Und wieso ändert man nur die Sounds und will das als Realismus Mod verkaufen ? Da gibt es schon RWG und RWM die nicht nur die Sounds geändert haben, sondern das Spiel auch im Gameplay in Richtung Realismus verändert haben?

Ingwo you misunderstood him he is not talking about the FTP storage, he is having trouble uploading files larger than 300mb to google drive. He should be more specific about these things and his post needs structure but it can be worked on.
I'm pretty sure its a sound mod too but he called it realism, because he thinks the sounds are more realistic. lets see

It would really help if you -as mr. Badger Lowe stated- express yourself more clearly, it is obvious why Ingwio took your question the way he did. You do not mention Google Drive at all, and to my knowledge there is no 300MB limit in GD either, so it is confusing to say the least.

Also, your enthousiasm for the game we all love is appreciated, but, if you said, you're new to modding, try to be a bit more modest in your claims. Adding some sounds to existing mods does not make for a completely new mod, it is you learning some tricks on how to learn to do actual modding.

Don't worry, we all stand on the shoulders of those who learned the trade long before we ourselves learned it, so keep on learning and share your progress, but stick to a single tread in the modding subforum for instance, and don't clutter the entire board, people sometimes have a hard time finding something of substance in your many postings, and may ignore your posts altogether.
