Now SS remake it's really close to completion! For now game engine supports everything except aviation and trains. I'm going to release it as a separate game and it's in active development now. Igor one of the RWG & FMRM authors and author of SuSt_Graph tools.

Is a map editor planned... or planned later? Maybe it would be interesting for our site or you could redesign the site a bit and offer various options for 2 different games.

Yes, map editor will be provided - the same we use for game production. It may take some time to improve it's usability for broader audience, but we will release it for sure
