Re: Sudden Strike 5 - Critical Review & Analysis - (This Is Not Sudden Strike!)
Man get over it it, the original game is 30 years or whatever old. The world is changing, nobody gives a rat's ass about authenticity, entertainment (and of course profit) is what counts. Don't get stuck in the past, move on and be happy about the times you had with SS, SS2 and SSRFW. Nothing worse than being an "Achim" (German mocking term for the conservative final boss, like a Karen in the US)...

I am not going to pass up the opportunity to bash this game, its my thoughts and opinion you can find others of people sucking up to the developers where everything is gold and rosy ignoring the issues present and that is ok, I dislike it and I say so I may as well make a video anywayFleischfresse hat geschrieben: 20.09.2025, 19:55 Man get over it it, the original game is 30 years or whatever old. Being an Achim, Karen, Khawal, whatever, there's no relation to being that when you're trying to stop the faking of a 20 year old game, me and you agree that Sudden Strike 5 and 4 aren't Sudden Strike, absolutely no way, the developers only cared about income and building their own game under a title of an old strategy game to get additional audience, good strategy to be honest, I like it.Fleischfresse hat geschrieben: 20.09.2025, 19:55 Man get over it it, the original game is 30 years or whatever old. Well, I do care! And I think it is sad that only entertainment and profit seem to count. Also sad how some people see their own opinion as the only one that is relevant and call those who disagree names.Nothing worse than being an "Achim"
I dislike Kalypso delivering a game that could not be further from Sudden Strike (my personal opinion based on what has been shown so far). But I have to admit that it has been a clever move to buy the license so that they can publish another Codename Panzers unser the name Suddden Strike. I can't do anything against that so I do accept this change that has happened in my world. But I still have the right to express my opinion. And I don't like this so called Sudden Strike 5. It does not have the unit numbers or the tactical possibilities that a 25-year-old game does provide. The commander bonuses are outright silly. Again, this is my opinion. I don't want to persuade you or deny you the right to your point of view. But I won't let you tell me what to think!

Re: Sudden Strike 5 - Critical Review & Analysis - (This Is Not Sudden Strike!)
Personally, I don't care how many "fake" Sudden Strike games more will be released, adapted to the masses. I got Sudden Strike 3 and 4 and I barely played them, and now I probably won't buy the fifth part. But a worthy successor to the original, a "real" Sudden Strike... I would really welcome it, too.
And with modern (2D)-graphics, I'm also sure a few new players will join.
Greetings
