with those script we found how to pass a litle bug from the editor..
SOUNDS it saved when you compiled map but when you reload the same map for edit again sounds are not loaded !!!
to avoid that mistake until a pathc is come for the SSRW editor is good to make all your map script and when is end put your sound on it then compile it..
all sound is on map ..
Fireglow is informed about that mistake and they can fix in the next patch..
actually all language version DE, UK and FR have patch where fixed mortar "BUG" where mission and campaign RTD or cant continue, now all mission work fine just a crew is assigned in all mission with mortar..

ich sehe das Ding immer noch mit sehr gemischten Gefühlen
Auf der einen Seite hat mir das Ding schon wertvolle Dienste geleistet beim Wiederherstellen von selbst zerschossenen !eigenen! Editormaps. Auf der anderen Seite, alle die, die viel Stunden an Entwicklung und Tests auf neue vielleicht teilweise sehr kniffelige scripte verwendet haben, da kann jeder innerhalb kürzester Zeit diese dann einfach abkupfern ohne weitere Mühe und Zeit in eigene Ideen und Tests zu verwenden!
Und gerade dieses board hat sich durch einige sehr engagierte Helfer bei Script- und Mapfragen doch als sehr gute Hilfestellung erwiesen!
Ich möchte auch gar nicht die alte Diskussion beleben, die wir beim ersten Mapconverter auch schon hatten, aber mein Eindruck ist, dass durch dieses Tool dem Spiel ein Stück Faszination genommen wurde und durch die Weiterentwicklung auch weiterhin genommen wird.

anothe rfacy is we can open some map where is good design and modify to make a beeter script.. there is come the "CREDITS" where we ask user who use that tool and modify map from other dont delete original creation messade .. but just added some info about the changes..
remmeber to respect the creation of original map creator is very important to keep the credits of that!

ps: MapConverter is ready, Mzach need to decide if a fast change done for HS2 support or the mapConverter come out soon and a patch for the HS2 compatibility come latter.

It´s been 10 days of agonizing wait, an no news about MapCoverter.
You see, many of us haven´t skills or time to create a map/mission from scratch, but would gladly propose variations over an already composed theme. Of course not necessarily to be uploaded, unless granted authorization. Other times, you´ve already finished a new map/mission and find a problem that makes it necessary to decompile.
So, this tool is very iportanto to us. Since SSRW have such fine mods as COI, LR, MWAW and PWM, this new MC release certainly would help building new missions.
Any idea about when it comes?
