Fireglow statement.. about Right and CDV..

there is a reply from Fireglow about the situation between Fireglow vs CDV
and all product based under sudden strike engine..

and for infos Fireglow have full right renewed again from 04-2004, if you remember the statement to CDV forum..

and be shure the story not end..

is a reply to moders of the community where they want to know the real situation and if they have the right to mod (without any part of the engine)

The Sudden Strike related forums will appear on our site soon (now the corresponding domain names are being transferred to Fireglow by CDV).

Please see answers to your questions below.

1. All the rights for the intellectual property belong to Fireglow, as well as rights for publishing and distribution of the Sudden Strike games. The Sudden Strike Trademark belongs to Fireglow. CDV currently doesn't have publishing and distribution rights for Sudden Strike, Sudden Strike Forever or Sudden Strike2.

2. Support of all of the Sudden Strike games will be provided on the forums, as well as on web-pages of our friends and partners (we shall put links to these resources on www.fireglowgames.com soon).

3. Either Hidden Stroke and Hidden Stroke 2 products were developed basing on the intellectual property of Fireglow. However, Fireglow never granted a license for use of its intellectual property for the development of these products.

4. We like people who creating mods for free.

5. Cold War Conflict, Gulf War, Hidden Stroke, Hidden Stroke2 were created basing on the intellectual property of Fireglow. No developer was never granted a license from Fireglow, allowing the development of above products.

- All Mods are based on the intellectual property of Fireglow? - yes, ofcoz. This isn`t the sensation
- How far Fireglow away from the user support? - yes, this isn`t the sensation
- How "deep" is Fireglow's love of sudden-strike modding community? - so deep as they never support anybody free or not free (no tools, no manuals, no helps - nothing) ! Yes, this isn`t the sensation
- Why Fireglow still alive and thankful? Because of support, coming from APRM, RWM, CWC, Gulf War and many others, who makes sudden-strike alive up to 2005. Yes, this isn`t the sensation
- What people can say about Fireglow's collaboration with the well-known spammer (Magic touch)? - This funny deal just proves HOW FAR FAR FIREGLOW AWAY FROM THE SUDDEN-STRIKE COMMUNITY.

your infos is wrong, is allready done on past and is not from CDV..

you can download for free under aprm.cn (bbs) address
like CWC and other SS2 mod.. and all for free..
anothe problem, is not compatible with the European HS2 ..
that version have another bug's..
