RWM & Vista, prob ?

hi

some players have a problem with RWM and its new PC equiped with "Windows Vista".

not problem for instal and SS2 fonctionnelly normaly, but RWM 6.7b2 bug at moment of dowload map after start game (MP or SP).

somebody it already installed RWM with Vista and have this problem ?

good idea thx, but for the moment, i dont know if he have saved its XP config
for recover its SS2/RWM old instal... continuation of saga later...

I've try to copy ss2 folder from XP to vista but same pb.
RWM Crashe always when i'm launching a game (at 20% of loading)

I have try to launch it with administrators rights but its not better.

As Real tells, SS2 (without mod) is working fine on vista (with patch 2.2 or not, and same with or without the NoCd)

if you have others ideas ...

habe dasselbe Problem, RWM läuft unter Vista nicht!!
SS2 funktioniert ohne Probleme, aber RWM überhaupt nicht!
Bin ein RWM-Fan der ersten Stunde, anscheinend schlägt jetzt aber meine
letzte Stunde
Was nun?
Da müsste wahrscheinlich ein Patch für Vista her.

I have found a 'half' solution
The game works when I use the Windows NT 4 compatibility mode.

Its a half solution because the game works without sounds.

Tell me please if it is working for you, and if you have the same sounds problem

If you experiment the same sounds problems than me, try to delete sudden Strike registry keys in the section :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio\PolicyConfig\PropertyStore...

hi habe auch vista jetzt weil ich einen neuen PC habe. Ich wollte dann die BETA 3 installieren und wollte die spielen. Installation hat gut geklappt aber als ich die erste Map starten wollte öffnete sich ein fenster und da stand dann das die Game.exe nicht funktioniert...
Dann habe ich ein bisschen rumgebastelt dann konnte ich zwar das Spiel und eine Map starten aber hatte dann keinen sound und das kanns ja wohl net sein

scheiss Vista ist 64 Bit und nicht 32Bit

daran liegt es dass ich keinen sound habe

es gibt eine 32bit und eine 64bit version ... die normalen versionen sind 32bit, die bei pcs usw. bei sind!
