Problem mit RCM V2.7

Hallo,

ich habe ein Problem mit dem RCM V2.7. Nach dem ich SS RW, den RCM V2.7 und das Bugfix installiert habe sowie die Fix Konfig durchgeführt habe, sagt mir RCM V2.7 bein Startversuch immer <Game_exe not found at D:\Spiele\Sudden Strike Resource War\Sudden Strike - Resource War\run\code\Release\game_exe.exe>. Was kann ich da machen? Und wenn ich den Ordner <Code>, der bei mir unter <D:\Spiele\Sudden Strike Resource War> zu finden ist, nach <D:\Spiele\Sudden Strike Resource War\Sudden Strike - Resource War\run> kopiere, sagt mir RCM V2.7 immer <Can't load n2Menu_Dll.dll: 126>. Ich weiß echt nicht mehr was ich machen soll. Wäre super, wenn mir jemand helfen könnte.

This is the problem. I think you installed it to a bad place.
Install it only yout sudden strike resource war main folder.


Here is my installed pathway:

D:\Program Files\Sudden Strike - Resource War\Run\code\Release\game.exe

And this is yours:

D:\Spiele\Sudden Strike Resource War\Sudden Strike - Resource War\run\code\Release\game_exe

and here is my rcm2.7 folder:

D:\Program Files\Sudden Strike - Resource War\Run\rcm2.7\

thank you for your advice, but the problem still exists. I don't know why.
Now, RCM V2.7 says <Game_exe not found at D:\Spiele\Sudden Strike - Resource War\run\code\Release\game_exe.exe>. However, in the folder <D:\Spiele\Sudden Strike - Resource War\run\> there is no further folder <...\code\Release\game_exe.exe>. There is only the folder <...\run\rcm2.7> and the file <sudtest.ini>.
What can I do?

Do I need a special Patch for Sudden Strike - Resource War, so that the RCM V2.7 runs?
I bought Sudden Strike - Resource War in a Combibox could this cause this problem?

oh, I have an idea.

There is a complete sudden strike "antholgy" which contains the Forever, sudden 2, resource war and sudden 3 demo.
With this multisudden installer pack doesn't work the RCM. becouse the file-system is different than other simple resource war.

Or if this not problem, ask Slyder, maybe he can help you with another advice.

Und hier ist ein TOOL welches die Original Struktur von Recource WAR z.b. wieder herstellt, falls Du Sudden Streke Universe benutzt hast.

nachdem das mit dem Restructuring funktioniert hat und das RCM V2.7 auch startet, gibt es jetzt aber ein neues Problem. Das Spiel hängt sich im Hauptmenü auf, also da wo man zwischen Einzelspieler, Mehrspieler, etc. auswählen kann.
Anstatt Hauptmenü, wie beim "normalen" Sudden Strike - Resource War, steht oben Real Combat - Modification v2.7, also es hat den Anschein, dass alles okay ist, doch wenn ich dann etwas auswähle, hängt sich das Spiel auf. Auf dem Desktop erscheint dann die Meldung <Assertion failed> mit einer wilden Kombination von Klammern, Zahlen, Buchstaben und sonstigen Zeichen. Was läuft denn bei mir nun schon wieder falsch?

Für die weiter Hilfe schon mal vielen Dank!

Ich werde bei den Einzelmissionen rausgeworfen.
Missionen laden nicht, zurück zum Desktop.

Sorry, but I don't understand german language very good.

Paffi! An advice to you: go to the D:\Program Files\Sudden Strike - Resource War\Run\rcm2.7\maps\addon\SINGLE\ folder and delete 2 maps of the 3 maps. Copy them to another place in you PC, and start the game with one SP mission.
I don't know why, but in RCM there is a limit in the RCM2.7 folder...
But for me it's working with 2 or 3 small SP maps, or 1 bigger SP map.

I hope in RCM2.8 we will find the solution for this problem.

In MP there are not any similar problem. In my MP folder there is 30 MP maps, and they are working... Only the SP folder is the problem child.

Hello HunButyok,

thank you for your help! Now, it's possible for me to load a single player map and to play a quick start game. However, I have still a problem to play the RCM V2.7 in the "normal" modus. It's possible for me to come to the main menu, but when I want to chose, for example a campaign or single mission, the game is hanging up. And then I get the following notice on my desktop: <Assertion failed>. And there is written a wild combination of numbers, letters and other singns. What can I do?

Try download the x-mas edition from slyder. There everything works fine.
