New map: Poland 1945

Hi all

Due to an unfortunate crash of my laptop I lost all data of previous projects (omaha etc). Hence I will have to completely start over again.

In stead of reviving previous works i decided to start an entirely new scenario.

With my latest project I intend to portray the assault of a German city by soviet forces in the final stages of the war. The map isn't based on a particular historical scene of the war, but aims to capture a generic scene of fierce combat associated with Germany's desperate attempts to halt the soviet advance into Germany.

So sorry beacuse of omacha etc Map looks fine. You can add small water eye(l lake?) on the outskirts What size?
If i were you i would have add fields in front of outskirts and some defence lines. Scenario sounds perfeckt. 1945 german town and Ivans evrywhere.( will ger be encirlcked) Sry for my english. WUja

If you take a close look at the minimap you can see that I have already included several patches of farm land in the outskirt area.

I would add more holding tanks blocks(not so thick) to make better impresion.

Most notable change since the last update is the addition of hastily established water defences in the eastern part of the map.

I've added some terrain, elaborated some terrain textures and replaced all vegetation with defoliated and evergreen trees to better portray a scene, set in late february, early march of 1945.

I changed the weather mode to set a murkier, colder atmosphere.

I've added a lot of destruction to the cityscape, occasionally obstructing road passages to the point where navigation with armour has become impossible. For ease of construction, I created a bunch of pre-fab aggregates of destroyed objects. To avoid conspicuous repetition of objects patterns these pre-fabs had to be carefully assembled and sometimes slightly modified after deployment.
