Problems Mapconverter with Steam SuddenStrikeII

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry to use English, but my german writing is pretty bad! Can someone help me please. I have a brand new pc with Windows 11 and Sudden Strike II via Steam. But I cant get the Mapconverter to work It keeps giving me errors like this one:



That one i get after i changed the path.txt to my steam map.

if compability mode does not help, here is a workaround, if you still have a legal copy of Windows XP (maybe 98 or Vista might do the trick as well, not sure - only tested with XP):

- Download and install VMWare Workstation Player (the trial edition is free for non-commercial)
- Install Windows XP in VMWare
- Drag and Drop your Sudden Strike II Steam Folder (SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sudden Strike II) into XP
- Start the Map Converter from XP
